Sebenarnya secara gak sengaja, koleksi video musik gue lebih banyak menampilkan band-band asal Inggris, walaupun gue juga sebenarnya gak begitu paham istilah "Britpop" itu sendiri, mulai dari Manic Street Preachers, Blur sampai Suede, secara kebetulan pas 2008 kemarin dengerin "The Changcuters - hijrah ke london" gue baru paham, ternyata yang namanya Inggris (UK-United Kingdom) yang meliputi Inggris (England), Skotlandia (Scotland), Wales dan Irlandia Utara merupakan sebuah negara besar penghasil Band-band beraliran Rock Alternative pada era dekade 90'an, dan juga menjadi pusat musik kedua didunia setelah Amerika Serikat (US)..

Elastica - Stutter

Elastica were a British alternative rock band, who played punk rock-influenced music. Elastica released their first single was "Stutter" in 1993, which benefited from the promotional efforts of BBC Radio. In the United States "Connection" and "Stutter" received airplay on modern rock radio and also both charted on the pop charts, as did their debut album (which was later certified gold). After performing at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival, the band joined the Lollapalooza tour continuing an almost solid year of constant gigging. Citing exhaustion, original bassist Annie Holland quit the band in early August of 1995, After the release of a farewell single "The Bitch Don't Work" in 2001, the band announced their amicable break-up....DOWNLOAD

Lush - Hypocrite

The band formed in 1987, with a line up Emma Anderson (guitar), Miki Berenyi (Vocals,guitar), Steve Rippon (bass), and Chris Acland (drums).Anderson and Berenyi had been friends since the early 1980s. They were one of the first bands to attract the "shoegazing" label, later moving towards Britpop, Split is the second album by British shoegazing act Lush, released on 4AD on June 13, 1994 in the UK and a day later in the US. Two singles were released from the album: "Desire Lines" and "Hypocrite," both released on May 30, 1994. .....In October 1996, drummer Chris Acland hanged himself in his parents' house. While the band continued for a time, with rumours that they were working with former Scarce drummer Stephen Albert, they officially announced that they had split up in February 23, 1998.....DOWNLOAD

Bis - This is fake D.I.Y

Bis were a Scottish rock band composed of Steven Clark (Sci-fi Steven), John Clark (John Disco), and Amanda MacKinnon (Manda Rin). Formed in 1994, Bis vs. the D.I.Y. (1996, teen-c recordings) Corps was the first release on Bis's very own teen-c recordings. It was released on 7 inch vinyl, cassette tape and compact disc. When listing this release or the song "This is Fake D.I.Y." Bis just as often use the last period in the acronym D.I.Y. as they don't.... the band broke up in 2003, but reformed briefly in 2007 for a series of concerts....DOWNLOAD
